Rabri Recipe

Rabri is a milk based sweet dish, made by boiling the milk on low heat for a long time till it thickens. Served with gulab jamun, jalebi or malpua.
Method:
- Combine khoya, milk and sugar.
- Cook in a heavy bottom sauce pan on medium heat.
- Stirring occasionally, until thick for about 10 – 12 minutes.
- Garnish with pistachio and saffron, serve warm or cold.

Can I use 1%milk for this or do I have to use Whole milk?
I prefer to use Whole Milk, for thicker rabri.
