Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Paneer bhurji is irresistible paneer dish, easy to make and takes almost no time. Grated paneer cooked with cabbage, tomatoes and spices is packed with protein.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, wait until seeds crakle.
  2. Add chopped cabbage and saute on medium heat.
  3. Once cabbage turn light brown, add green chili and tomatoes, cook till oil seprates.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, mix well.
  5. Add grated paneer kasoori methi and cream, let it cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, to avoid sticking to the bottom of pan.
  6. Now lower the flame and cook till oil separates.
  7. Garnish with cilantro and enjoy with rotis, chapati or paratha.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Paneer, grated
  • 1/2 Cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (jeera)
  • 1 Teapoon Red Chili Powder
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Kasoori Methi (Dry Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 2 Tablespoon Cream
  • Salt to Taste
  • To Garnish:
  • 2 Tablespoon Cilantro (Coriander Leaves), finely chopped
