Paneer Pulao Recipe

Paneer Pulao Recipe

Paneer Pulao is mildly spiced and very tasty rice dish. Rice is stir fried with paneer, vegetables and select spices. Serve with any dal or curry.

Method:

  1. Heat deep nonstick pan on medium heat, add oil or ghee.
  2. Add cumin seeds, wait until seeds crackle.
  3. Add cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaves, black peppercorns and roast for a minute.
  4. Add carrots, green beans, green bell pepper and cauliflower stir fry until soft, for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add paneer and stir fry for 1 minutes.
  6. Add rice, garam masala powder and salt, mix well.
  7. Serve hot with any dal or curry. Enjoy Paneer Pulao!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rice, cooked
  • 1/4 Cup Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum), diced
  • 1/4 Cup Carrots, diced
  • 1/4 Cup Green Beans, diced
  • 1/4 Cup Cauliflower, small florets
  • 1/2 Cup Paneer, cubed and fried
  • 3 Tablespoon Oil or Ghee
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 3 Cloves
  • 5 to 6 Black Peppercorns
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to Taste

  1. The total menu is a salad, paratha, corn palak paneer (gravy), chole(spicy), bolied rice and a spicy dal. Along with gulab jamun. Is this okay or should i change to a pulao and yoghurt instead of dal and rice?
