Cilantro chutney is very delicious and prepared in moments in a blender. This chutney can be enjoyed with anything you eat during a fast, snack or a meal.

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Delicious green chutney is ready for accompainiment with snack or appetizers.
  3. Store refrigerated in an air-tight container and use as required.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cliantro (Coriander Leaves), chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Raw Peanuts
  • 2 Almonds
  • 3-4 Green Chilies
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar Optional
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • Salt to Taste

  1. My friend and I made a chutney (at least that’s what we’re calling it) with the main ingredients being fresh tomatoes, canned pineapple, and cilantro. There is some lime juice in it, but is that going to be enough to can like it is or does it need a preservative?

  2. it is very tasty, but the flavors are very hard to place at the same time. could be mint, cilantro?? i want to make homemade samosa myself with this sauce on the side mmmmm…
    p.s.- not the tamarind chutney!
