Sev puri is a delicious chaat sold on streets of Mumbai. Sev-puri is simple to make, as the name suggests its sev topped on puris along with onions, potatoes and chutneys.


  1. Arrange the puri’s in a serving platter or individual plate.
  2. Top each puri with a little potato, onion, tomato (optional) and raw mango (optional).
  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of chutney on each puri- garlic chutney, Date Tamrind Chutney and green chili chutney.
  4. Sprinkle lemon juice and salt on top.
  5. Garnish each puri with sev and cliantro.
  6. Sprinkle red chili powder and chaat masala.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!


  • 36 Puris, whole
  • 1 Cup Boiled Potatoes, chopped
  • 1 Cup Onions, finely chopped
  • 1 Cup Tomatoes, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 Tablespoon Raw Mango, finely chopped (optional)
  • 3 Tablespoon Garlic Chutney
  • 18 Tablespoon Date Tamrind Chutney
  • 9 Tablespoon Green Chili Chutney
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Cup Sev
  • 2 Tablespoon Cliantro (Corainder Leaves), chopped
