Beetroot Pulao Recipe

Beetroot Pulao is unique yet scrumptious Indian vegetarian rice dish. Beetroot and broccoli simply blend with rice to prepare a flavourful and colorful pulao that is very healthy.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds, wait until seeds crackle.
  3. Add chopped garlic and green chili, saute for one minute.
  4. Add diced beetroot and broccoli florets, fry until soft.
  5. Add the cooked rice, cilantro and salt.
  6. Mix gently and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve with raita or curry.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Broccoli, small florets
  • 1 Small Beet, diced
  • 2 Tablespoon Ghee or Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds, (Jeera)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic, chopped
  • 1 Green Chili, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoon Cilantro (Coriander Leaves), finely chopped
  • Salt to Taste
