Vanilla cupcakes are quick, easy and perfect for any kids party. Cake mix, ready-to-spread frosting and sprinkles stir up awesome cupcakes. Kids will have tons of fun decorating these eggless cupcakes.


  1. Heat oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick pan).
  2. Place paper baking cup in each of regular-size muffin cups.
  3. In large bowl, beat cake mix, oil and evaporated milk.
  4. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  5. Bake 22 – 24 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely, for about 30 minutes.
  7. Spread frosting on cupcakes. Sprinkle frosted cupcakes.
  8. Store loosely covered at room temperature.


  1. Makes about 20 to 22 regular size cupcakes.


  • 1 Box Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1 Can Evaporated Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Oil
  • 1 Container Vanilla Frosting
  • 3/4 Cup Sprinkles

  1. also, if i add grated carrots to a vanilla cupcake recipe, will it taste like carrot cake? or should i also add something more, like cinnamon?
