Vegetable Sweet Corn Soup Recipe
Serves 4 people

Sweet corn soup is very tasty and easy to make. It is an all time favourite and ever popular soup. This vegetarian soup is a fat free.

Method:

  1. In a small bowl mix 1/4 cup of water and cornflour, keep aside.
  2. Heat a large pot on medium high heat, add oil.
  3. Add corn, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower and green beans, saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add cream Stlye corn and salt, mix well.
  5. Add water and mix well, bring it to boil.
  6. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Add cornstarch and water mixture to soup.
  8. Add sugar, chopped cilantro and soy sauce cook for 2 more minutes.
  9. Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 1 Can Cream Style Corn
  • 1/4 Cup Frozen Sweet Corn
  • 1/4 Cup Carrots, diced
  • 1/4 Cup Cabbage, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Cauliflower, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Beans, diced
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoon Cornflour
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cilantro, finley chopped (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • Salt to Taste
