Brussels Sprouts Rice Recipe

Brussels Sprouts Rice Recipe

Brussels sprouts rice is very quick yet healthy rice dish. Stir fried brussels sprouts mixed with rice to make very delicious rice dish.


  1. Trim brussels sprouts, removing any damaged or discolored leaves and slicing off the root end.
  2. Cut each sprout in half through the stem and, then slice each half in quarters, keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat, add cumin seeds, wait until seeds crackle.
  4. Add chopped green chili, saute for one minute. Add brussels sprouts, stir fry until soft.
  5. Add the cooked rice, cilantro and salt.
  6. Mix gently and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve with raita or curry.


  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice
  • 10-12 Brussels Sprouts
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds, (Jeera)
  • 1 Green Chili, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoon Cilantro (Coriander Leaves), chopped
  • Salt to Taste
