Cucumber Mint Raita Recipe

Cucumber mint raita is a simple accompaniment for paratha or chappati. This nutrients paked raita is made with yogurt, cucumber, mint and seasoned with green chili. Minty cucmber raita can also be served with pulav or biryani.

Method:

  1. In a bowl, whisk the plain yogurt until smooth.
  2. Add diced cucumber, mint leaves, green chili sugar(optional) and salt, mix well.
  3. Garnish with chopped cilantro leaves.
  4. Serve with rice, chappati or parathas.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Plain Yogurt (Dahi/Curd)
  • 1 Small Cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1 Green Chili, finely chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar(Optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Mint Leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt to Taste
  • To Garnish:
  • 1 Tablespoon Cilantro (Coriander Leaves), finely chopped
