  1. We usually buy basmati rice from the Indian grocery store, but today they were closed and the Asian supermarket didn’t have basmati rice, only jasmine rice (and a whole bunch of other types of rices). What is jasmine rice like?

  2. i make basmati rice alot, but today when i made it, it smelled like weed (very strongly, it stunk up the whole apartment) and it doesnt taste very good. i have been keeping it in a ziploc bag… i am rather confused. is this normal?
